TSTRT

TSTRT is supplied as a bundle that includes the program itself and support files. To make installation easy, we supply a self-extracting package file that contains all the required pieces together in a single file.

The package file is called TSTRTP.100 and should be transferred to the Tandem as a binary file named TSTRTP and then altered to an executable object file using FUP:

TACL> FUP ALTER TSTRTP,CODE 100

Unpackage the package file as follows:

TACL> RUN TSTRTP GET TSTRTP, \*.$*.*.* , <volume>.MCGUTILS

The following files will be produced:

TSTRT    100

TACLCSTM 101

PROMOTE  101

Alter the executable object file using FUP:

TACL> FUP ALTER MCGUTILS.TSTRT,CODE 100

Configure the files TACLCSTM and PROMOTE per the documentation prior to running.
